Quiet Honda Power Generator

If you are considering buying a generator, make sure that you take the time to consider buying a Honda power generator. The Honda power generator has superior quality over most other brands and it runs extremely quietly. Many people may not think that spending extra money on a generator just because it is quiet is prudent, but a quiet generator is very important in many cases. Tailgating is one of those cases.

My husband and I are avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans. We have a dear friend we call Mad Dog. Mad dog is the Steelers Fanatic. He bought an old bread truck and had it painted black and gold. He hired an artist to paint the likeness of Art Rooney on one side of the truck and the Steelers logo on the other. This vehicle was a Steelers fan’s dream machine, except for the power generator. A Honda power generator would have better suited the Steelers bread truck.

A couple years ago, we went to a Steelers football game even though we had no tickets. We decided that if we did not find anyone selling tickets in the parking lot, then we would just watch the game on the television conveniently located in Mad Dog’s bread truck. We didn’t find enough tickets, so six of us stayed with the bread truck while the other four went into the stadium.

We soon discovered the benefits of having a quiet generator like the Honda power generator, because we did not have the benefit of a quiet generator. The television required electricity. There was no way that we were missing the game so we just had to use the dinosaur of a power generator Mad Dog owned.

We had several complaints within minutes. The people in the motor home next to us were banging on the door for quite awhile. We could not hear them over the generator. They said that the machine was making so much noise that they could barely hear the game. “How do you think we feel?” said one of our companions.

Being Pittsburghers themselves, the people in the motor home next to us understood our situation and our deep desire to continue watching the game. They didn’t make any more complaints but we did wind up going to the Clark Bar to watch the rest of the game. It was much quieter in the crowded bar than it was in the bread truck.

Since then, Mad Dog purchased a Honda power generator. Unfortunately, tailgating in our beautiful city of Pittsburgh is at a minimum as it can be quite expensive because of the new parking fees for larger vehicles. But we are thinking about going to a game in the bread truck again just for old time’s sake. The Honda power generator may make the trip worthwhile.
